This offline city guide provides you with up-to-date tourist information about Zurich. Its integrated city map shows the most interesting places and events and the quickest way to the nearest hotel, ATM or tram stop. Built-in tours let you discover the city at your own pace.

Swiss Hikes - Developed by Switzerland Tourism


Swiss Hikes App

Each hike comes with a general description, details of the climbs and descents, duration and difficulty together with the relevant swisstopo map extract on a scale of 1:25,000. The iPhone application also features practical information on restaurants and places to stay en route.

All events related to concerts, art, exhibitions, popular customs, festivals, fine dining and sport are displayed with pictures, text, address, Google maps and further links, and may be accessed by iPhone by various criteria such as region, location, time period and category in the languages D, F, I and E.'s official events calendar is updated every day by over 500 locations.

Swimming Weather – Developed by Switzerland Tourism

Where is the closest swimming venue? How warm is the water? What facilities are on site? Switzerland Tourism's swimming weather forecast provides quick access to information on over 250 open-air and indoor swimming venues across the country.

Swisspeaks – Developed by ETH Zurich

Swisspeaks App

SwissPeaks is a light-weight augmented reality application for the iPhone 3GS, which provides users with information about mountains in sight in Switzerland. It can be used to identify mountains outdoors when hiking, biking, climbing or skiing. Mountains seen through the iPhone camera get labeled with their name, height and the distance from the user. Further information for specific mountains can be requested from the web.
